CCSU School of Business Earns Accreditation
CCSU’s School of Business joins the ranks of prestigious institutions, including Yale & UConn, in earning accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Only about 5% of business schools in the US have received the coveted AACSB stamp of approval. “AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education,” says Provost Carl Lovitt. CCSU Police Department Accredited
The CCSU Police Department has earned one of the highest designations for professional excellence: accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), marking successful compliance with nationally recognized standards essential to the protection of the life, safety, health, and rights of citizens.
President Jack Miller said he was “very gratified” by the CALEA accreditation. “I know they work very hard to meet the standards because it will help to ensure the safety and security of the CCSU campus community,” Miller said. “It is not too much to say,” he continued, “that their work to achieve accreditation helped prepare the University to handle the recent emergency situation as exceptionally well as it did.” For more of the story, click here.
